“I bought a pair of walter hagen golf shoes in Sept. last year I have only worn a about 12 times and the whole sole has come unglued I took them back to Dicks they said contact the manufacturer and they would send me a new pair my problem is I can not find a contact thru all my searches”

Well as far as we’re concerned at Golf Shoes Blog, all Walter Hagen shoes are made for and sold by Dick’s and therefore you’re never going to find the manufacturer. It’s what we called eother OEM (original equipment manufacturer, “own brand” or badged! (When I was in retail.)
So unless you work for Dicks you’re not going to get to the manufacturer. Good luck.
*Being cynical, I wonder if the comment is from a rival: In which case apologies all round.

Somebody Asked For Pretty Pink Golf Shoes Like Paula’s Before: Can I find their Comment So Many Months (Years?) Later…
This is part of the Paula Creamer designed (or inspired by) Signature golf shoe range at Adidas. But when you look to buy from the range, you just see the (boring) ordinary looking ones.
And I suspect (do I really want to wade through all the trademarked acronym components to check?) that the actual golf shoe spec is pretty much as you’d expect. But I would imagine that with the signature golf shoe range for Paula (and for Natalie) that the name and the association is quite significant along with the look and styling. Or else why would Adidas bother with the tie in?

It’s the Hi Tec DT thunder golf boot. Perhaps it’s practicality over looks. It must be… because it’s not a looker is it.

Golf Shoes Blog Questioned On Source Of These Lovely Handmade Golf Shoes

Nebuloni have a new site for their golf shoes. The reason I know is that someone wrote in to Golf Shoes Blog to ask where you can get these golf shoes and I thought surely the previous posts have a link. But that link is now dead (I’ve changed it on that post and it’s the correct one above.
At the site you can see thes lovely “California” golf shoes for ladies and gents. There extra info there and images (including the golf shoe sole and spike choice – 11 spikes).
You can also view a CNN slot about the Milan golf shoemaker. These guys are making just 20 pairs a day at the most – so they’re not mass market. Thye’ve made them for 100 years as a family firm. Golf Shoes Blog Asked To Identify Golf Shoes…
We just had the following email “Dear Tate, I don’t know if you have done this kind of thing in the past, but I recently saw a MasterCard commercial with Boo Weekly and Arnold Palmer (you couldn’t miss the spot it if you saw the US Open this past weekend). Arnold Palmer is wearing some really unique looking black and white golf shoes in the ad and I can’t seem to find them anywhere on the internet, or even identify what make they are”.
The ad/commercial is on You Tube if you missed it – some of us didn’t see the US open – shame on our heads). At the moment we don’t know what golf shoes they are either but will have a look around. First thoughts [1] they’re not golf shoes as such, or [2] they’re made especially for AP and we’ll never know or maybe [3] they’re unusual or older Michael Toschi golf shoes – as their golf shoes most have this look, shape-wise – or similar make of old…
Arnold Palmer has associations with Callaway, but I don’t think that includes golf shoes (Callaway don’t seem to include their own golf shoes – either on their main websites or at trade/golf shows). None of thier golf shoes look quite like this.

Golf Shoes Blog mentioned this site yesterday when begged for help by someone who could not find extra wide golf shoes. This was for a ladies’ golf shoe in size 6 in triple EEE fitting.
But they do men’s golf shoes too and some we don’t recognise. Maybe they’re made especially?

Golf Shoes Blog Begged For Extra Wide Golf Shoe Help
Marpessa writes… “Help!! No one has extra wide(E-EE) golf shoes in a Ladies size 6!!! Why not??” (GSB: I’m not sur if E-EE is different to EEE). She continues “I am sure there are others in my, NOT SIZED MEDIUM, boat!!! How can I improve my golf game when my feet feel like they are on fire??”
Apparently Marpessa has tried sites for wide feet to no avail “Even the site with “custom” golf shoes did not offer extra wide shoes!! How is that “CUSTOM”???? They should stipulate,”fairly custom”, unless you are really hard to fit!!”
We don’t know which sites to suggest bearing in mind, Marpessa, that you don’tsay which sites you have tried.

“I’m wearing TRUE linkswear golf shoes because they’re the lightest, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn” says Ryan
We first mentioned these new golf shoes, the prototype of which Ryan Moore has been testing this year a few days ago – see Linkswear Golf Shoes on Golf Shoes Blog
TheTRUE golf shoes that they are showing on the True Linkswear website look slightly different to those we showed.
Nevertheless, there’s a philosophical and subjective dicussion to be had here. TRUE says that the “believe that traditional golf shoes that try to “nail you to the ground” are severely over engineered with features that actually put you in a position to fail every time you swing a club”. That puts the cat amogst the pigeons - but I know where they are coming from with the over-engineered bit. Have you read the bumbf and acronyms and trademark info for some shoes. SoI guess these are refreshing in that sense. But…
Will it work when you golf in these golf shoes? That’s the $164 question. They work for Ryan Moore and he plays golf better than I do in any golf shoe. Ryan Moore’s Golf Shoes Have Generated More Golf Shoes Searches For golf Shoes Blog Than Any Other
And now, astute business man that he is, Ryan Moore has taken a share in another company - True Linkswear - and is now getting publicity for them (and him) in a very different kind of golf shoe. Search Golf Shoes Blog for Ryan Moore to see previous stories.
Ryan was seen wearing a pair of the new golf shoe prototypes in, Texas recently. But he’s been wearing a new golf shoe quite a bit this year – as our picture shows.
Ryan says “I’m wearing them (the golf shoes) because they’re the lightest, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn… I’m a feel player, and every part of the way I experience the game of golf – from the tee box to the green – depends on having a solid connection with the ground.”
The True linkswear golf shoe is a soft-spike hybrid which is lighter than usual traditional golf shoe and sits closer to the ground. There are four versions of the golf shoe prototype which Moore helped to design and is trialing.
”Both (True Linkswear and Scratch Golf – who Ryan has a share in already) are parallel in the fact they love Ryan for his uniqueness and his ability to be different,” Jeremy Moore, Ryan’s brother said.
