The Ugliest Golf Shoes

Does Anyone Want To Nominate Their Ugliest Golf Shoe

Often we talk about the good looking golf shoes and those that tickle the aesthetic.  We have on Golf Shoes Blog a category for Designer Golf Shoes and Amazing Golf Shoes.  And once or twice we have suggested that a golf shoe was ugly (Nike & Adidas have had one candidate each) (and I got told off for saying so by one or two commentators)… but we have not actively searched for an ugly golf shoe – why would you?

I have just read of a fun tournament somewhere, where they had prizes for all sorts of  opposite-usual (like the shortest drive etc) and one prize was for the ugliest golf shoes.  Unfortunately there were no picture and a winning (losing) shoe wasn’t mentioned.

So is there anyone out there who thinks any particular golf shoe is particularly ugly?  Send nominations and pictures if possible.

One shoe (boot actually – the second this week) has been called ugly by a shoe fashion site.  they are looking at thefrom the style int of view and I can see what they mean.  The Puma Concorde is a good looking golf shoe, in may colours and varieties (including silver & gold) byt GTX Hi golf shoe for ladies (as pictured here) does have an ugly duckling feel.
