Rubber Sole Golf Shoes Do The Job

I’ve only mentioned these golf shoes in passing before when Ryan Moore was wearing them (and no other branded kit – see post).  The reason that I bring them back is that people in the ether seem to be talking about them in flattering terms.  Blurb from Puma calls the “classic but  futuristic Golf Shoes”. I’m not sure about that but the look like SOLID style trainers which do the golf job properly.  They retail in the UK at about £90.

The uppers are full-grain water resistant leather with canvas monoline and a rubber outsole.  They have a special sole with golf traction design. 

The pair in green and whiye look a bit like tennis shoes (green flash fromDunlop) from the real old days before trainers were invented!  It must be the RUBBER connection.

POSTSCRIPT:  I’ve just found an earlier post where I didn’t take a fancy to these.  The look has definitely grown on me since!
