Bad Pun As Photographer Slips In Spike-less Golf Shoes…
Sorry I coudn’t resist the pun involving these golf shoes… but first let me go back a bit…
I saw these 1950’s golf shoes on Flickr by “Stadt kind” who is really Leonidas. He was given these shoes by a friend and they are American – that’s all we know about the shoes.
But the story is that (I guess as a non golfer), he took the studs off so he could wear them indoors. Then he promptly slipped – “nearly slipped to his death”. So I did the pun on making the golf shoes into “slippers”.
Pathetic really isn’t it!
The golf shoes are great though!
