I read on cybergolf that Craig Cyr, 25, of Austin, Texas, is wearing one black golf shoe and one white golf shoe to “keep the mood light and not take myself or my golf too seriously.” This is his first Mid-Amateur, playing now at the Kiawah Island Club.
I found a picture – so it looks like he’s done the golf shoe thing before. Maybe it’s his unique stamp.
Craig is the 2009 Texas Public Links champion.
I like the golf shoes look but would he get away with the socks?
