Ladies Ecco Activa Spike-less Golf Shoes

I think I Like These Golf Shoes…

ECCO Women's Spikeless Activa Golf ShoeThe look is OK – if not quite attractive in a bolshy sort of way.  The toe box is big and the heel is raised (see yesterday’s post on support and comfort), but what about the spike-less-ness?!

“The Activa Women’s Shoe uses Ecco spikeless technology and combines excellent traction with the comfort advantages of a lighter weight shoe”  says the blurb… but it has “fast-twist cleats”. Isn’t that in effect a spike?  If cleats mean spike-less in that sense, then all golf shoes (in the US at least) are spike -less so there’s no point in saying so…  Or am I missing something?

Features/benefits: TPU outsole with traction bars for grip, durability & lightweight comfort/Cambrelle-lined inlay sole for a comfortable, cool environment*/Breathable, Waterproof Gore-Texfor comfort and dryness  under all circumstances/genuine smooth full-grain leather with light, flexible TPU/internal stabilizer for support for both walking & swing**/ advance shock absorption materials for impact

*for the foot, thier blurb added!  Well it’s not for the ear lobes or scrotum is it!  **”Swing Energy Management” as they call it!

Come on you ECCO golf shoes lot – use proper English!
