The Cold Trail Of The Utuser Golf Shoes…
I saw a reference to two toned golf shoes in an article about how much ladies’ golf gear costs and it mentioned a brand of which I’d never heard (Utuser) – so I searched for the brand on Google to see if Icould find out what they were. Lo & behold there seems to be no such brand anyway EXCEPT in about 30 artcicles ALL EXACTLY THE SAME, just repeating the same text on that many different blogs sites. Machines seem to be out there just copying the same text and dumping them into sites designed I guess to make money. (Wish I could – I seem to get pennies if anything at all!)
SO two conclusions – [1] there’s too many people doing this blog business – but not actuallly doing this*. The money trail has been identified and the blog is the new earn money quick scheme. But of course the ones who just lift text spoil it for anyone who is searching genuinely for new or unique content. Imagine the Yellow Pages having half the entries in any section as fakes or even other directories.
[2] Secondly there is no such brand as Utuser! And the word only appears in this “syndicated” article. I wonder if the original author put in this as aunique reference s that he/she could track the viral success of the article! (I cannot think of what the right name would be if this were a spelling mistake.)
* I found a golf blog yesterday that’s just over five years old this month which is actually written by a real person.
