Hi-Tec CDT Power Golf Shoe also claims extra performance
When I wrote a series of posts earlier, I missd the Hi-Tec CDT (custom directional traction) power which was hailed as the shoe that helped Padraig Harrington win big. It is said that Padraig Harrington set Hi-Tec a challenge – to develop a shoe which would help hit him hit the ball further off the tee. As we’ve read before this is down to stability and this is mostly down to grip of the ground. In addition Hi-Tec say their shoes give more hold around the foot so it works together with the shoe – rather than against it.
Hi-Tec said that the results with Padraig were 16% more distance (with a 5-iron) using his CDTs.
Hi-Tec claimed (this was last year) the world’s first game improvement shoe but we’ve seen others claim that too. See the earlier posts.
