The Internet & Business Vs Golf Shoes

Having been away from Golf Shoes Blog (and golf shoes) for a couple of days, I got back to find more than the usual amount of comments submitted to the site.  Now it’s a funny old place, the “tinternet” where individuals write and search and businesses use it more and more for their publicity.  Some of them do their promotion anonymously, using people to get their name out there and seen by posting comments on related subject sites.

And then there are the real peple making real comments – in this case about their golf shoes – which is what we want.

While I was away, I had many comments and some are related below, as well as being bolted on to the post that they came in about.  Some make no sense, unless they are from “professionals”.  you decide… I have myown views.

botticelli master golf shoes[a] Bottielli Golf Shoes

“I bought a pair in Johannesburg, South Africa on the basis of its look and confidence that Italians make great shoes.

Mine is a brogue -white and blood red. I tried it out his past weekend at my course and what a sensation it caused among my fashion conscious friends.  (Golf Shoes Blog: I can’t find this exact style to picture.)

On the course -Glendower Golf Course the shoe proved extremely comfortable while walking the 18 holes. It was soft and there was no effort and no need to break it in to make it comfortable.

Now I am a fan of the Boticelli golf shoe and can’t wait to get my hands on their sotogrande and conero. Problem is I am having difficulty finding an e commerce site where I can place my order.” (Golf Shoes Blog:  Ditto, though outlets (non web) are listed on the Boticelli site)

 [b] Walter Hagen Spikes

”I also had trouble getting the spikes out of my Hagen Euros.  it was steel rather than plastic,.  do either one work or just steel?”

[c] Putting Down Puma!

“Question: the Smartquil nub things on most of the Puma golf shoes do not look lke they are replaceable. Does anyone know how durable they are or how long they last? I replace my spikes at least once a year and it doesn’t seem worth it to buy the Pumas if those nubs will wear down and be worthless after a few months. Anyone know anything about that?
Also, why are Puma golf shoes not available at the vast majority of golf retailers? ”

(Golf Shoes Blog: This comments sent to one asking about WH golf shoes!  Fishy?)
