Golf shoes photographed at Golf Day!
I actually went to play a round of golf last week in the Rooksbury Park Father’s Table Tennis League’s 1st Annual Golf Day. I’m not a father of a pupil (but an uncle) and there is no table tennis (they’ve now played more golf than table tennis) but it was a beautiful day on the beautiful Petersfield, Hants, UK course.
Rob (who claims to be useless and at least an 18 handicap) was given a 15 handicap due to the fact that he’s from along line of golfers (Grandma played for England/brother is a golf pro in Australia) and he’s a very good golfer. Plus when I started to talk about golf shoes he knew more than I did. He’s been reading every golf magazine that there is!
Of course he won – in his FootJoy DryJoys as pictured. 40-something Stableford points, nearest the hole and longest drive. Lucky he’s no good…
Meanwhile, I had to work out how to take photo’s from new angles for golf-shoes-blog! See also WHO’S SHOES including one pair of old Spaldings that went in the bin!

Thanks for this. The only photo that does not show my double chin.
Question – how often should one change their spikes on their golf shoes ?
