You Wouldn’t Think Golf Shoe Cleats Were Big News…
I just love reading the so called “leaderboard” or “cleat count” stories that PrideSports put out! I know that it’s all important and I would do it if I were them but it’s odd to the rest of the world!
PrideSports who own Softspikes® golf cleats (which they say is the world’s best selling cleat) had a great weekend apparently. A “sweep in professional golf, highlighted by capturing the Top 5 on the leaderboards at the PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open, the Nationwide Tour’s New Zealand Open and the Champions Tour’s AT&T Champions Classic, as well as winning the cleat field and taking 3 of the Top 5 spots at the WGC-CA Championship. As part of its stellar weekend on Tour, Softspikes newest cleat model, Black Widow® Tour™, earned its 3rd Top 10 appearance of the season with a strong finish at the PGA Puerto Rico Open”
And it goes on for paragraphs…”9 of the Top 10 finishers wore PrideSports products at the Puerto Rico Open, while 24 of the Top 28 finishers at the AT&T Champions Classic utilized PrideSports stable of products, with a majority wearing Softspikes-brand cleats… in addition to the Company’s cleat domination, PrideSports’ patented Fast-Twist® Insert System was featured in nearly 75% of the shoes worn by players during the WGC-CA Championship and in nearly 80% of the shoes worn by players during the Puerto Rico Open”.
One could drown in these wonderfully collated figures!
