Dial a golf shoe…
I’ve just caught up with this (and after factory “blemished” pairs are on sale – but I never claim golf-shoe-blog is first with the news!)… It’s a 2007 golf shoe that you have fitted at first go and then when you’re out and about you adjust the dial on the heel for a just-right fitting.
The final adjustment is in the lacing which runs from the front of the foot as normal but continues up around the ankle. Apparently this is common in other sports shoes (cycling, for example).
Obviously FootJoy say this aids stability and power and therefore your performance.
You’re supposed to get them fitted – so how does this work if you buy them mail order?!
