It’s Lightning Safety Awareness Week: Golf Shoes Alert!
Just a quick word of warning as the lightning warnings get going in the US. “If you are the golf course, find shelter. Golf shoes with metal spikes, metal golf carts and golf clubs make excellent conductors. Also, do not take shelter under a tree”. So now you know. Are the marketing people from the cleats companies out this week (lightning awareness week) selling their cleats?!
