Golf Shoes Blog mentioned this site yesterday when begged for help by someone who could not find extra wide golf shoes.  This was for a ladies’ golf shoe in size 6 in triple EEE fitting. 

But they do men’s golf shoes too and some we don’t recognise.  Maybe they’re made especially?

There’s these dri-tech – though they only go to 2E.  Others go to 8E! Have  look at the site.

Marpessa writes… “Help!! No one has extra wide(E-EE) golf shoes in a Ladies size 6!!! Why not??”  (GSB: I’m not sur if E-EE is different to EEE).  She continues “I am sure there are others in my, NOT SIZED MEDIUM, boat!!!  How can I improve my golf game when my feet feel like they are on fire??”

Apparently Marpessa has tried sites for wide feet to no avail “Even the site with “custom” golf shoes did not offer extra wide shoes!! How is that “CUSTOM”???? They should stipulate,”fairly custom”, unless you are really hard to fit!!”

We don’t know which sites to suggest bearing in mind, Marpessa, that you don’tsay which sites you have tried.

I presume that you know we have a section on Golf Shoes Blog entitiled big and wide golf shoes.  Having just had a look at the previous links, I think there’s shops out there.  Or try this new one widefitsshoes.  The golf shoes shown are sold as “Wide and comfortable golf shoes” with “orthotic friendliness, wide toe box, and killer styling”.

I’ve just stumbled across this maker of shoes – including golf shoes – based in Illinois USA.  They have 8 styles of golf shoes - two styles seen here – from which to choose. 

And as it seems such a great concern to many tinternet surfers (where do I get extra wide golf shoes?), they do sizes up to EEEEE – from AAA which I guess is very narrow.

The two styles here are Linden (left) and Classic (right).  I cannot find either prices or a dealer (but I was trying to invent a zip code) from their website.  But if you like this sort of thing (and the shoes are certainly good looking) then it mght be worth persevering.  Go direct to their golf shoe page.

I’m still getting comments coming in on oversized golf shoes and I thought that we’d covered this.  My fault I’m sure for not making all the BIG golf shoes posts together in one place (tomorrow I’ll have to do that).

Meanwhile I can only refer the men with big feet back to a previous post about Extra Wide Golf Shoes where  I’d found a supplier of shoes up to 6E wide!

Golf Shoes Blog is always interested in the bigger golf shoe: It seems to be a problem for a lot of our big-footed friends and they spend a fair amount of time on the look-out for the bigger golf shoe.  We have looked at the topic of bigger golf shoes before once or twice.

A new (to me) store 2 big feet is now boasting they stock four styles of Callaway golf shoes in sizes up to 18.  The Sport Era is their entry level golf shoe  in black/white at $95  (that doesn’t sound so “entry level” to me) up to the XTT LT Saddles at $145, as pictured here, available in white/brown or black/brown.

Aha!  Aha! Found them… Following some comments (see this post & this post asking where you can buy big and wide golf shoes…

Go to Wide Shoes for both big and wide.  These New Balance golf shoes, above left are in the asked-for size of 15EEEE but they also do 6E!  These shoes are $119.95.

There are other golf shoes as below (Hitchcocks own) which go up to size 13 and then they offer “fit me”.  (I’m trying to find out what this means…).  For example the golf shoes below left – no name – which are also £119.95

I frequently read stories about guys turning up without golf shoes or being in some predicament where they have to find some oversized  golf shoes and it’s always a big problem (literally)!

So I thought I’d try and see just how big golf shoes go.  I searched Google for size 13 shoes… No problem, there were listings as long as your foot!  Ebay, Overstock (selling those shown here, the Etonic Difference 3Z golf shoe available in 13’s), and loads of on-line stores and comparison sites.  Now I cannot comment on high street or golf club stores because I didn’t have the time to check before writing – but I expect that they have to have a seriously diminished range – so this probably only applies to on-line…

Then I tried 14’s.  No problem either.  Same story though by this time some had droped out!  Even the Big4Men store topped out at 13!  But others were ahead of me - boasting size 15’s.  But the results were less lengthy…  Ok so let’s jump 15’s and look for size 16 golf shoes.  (By the way: Size 15 golfshoes are about 12 and 5/16″ (US source) against a size 9 golf shoe 2″ shorter.)

Golfshoesplus had Callaway and Ecco at size 16… and wait for it size 18 – with just Callaways left in the race.  They’re so big they don’t even appear on the measurement charts!  There was nothing at size 19 and the one at 20 must have been a mistake because even the size 12’s in that model were on back order.  Like wise specialist bigshoes also stopped at size 18 for golf shoes.  I think that by this time we’re on “special order” only territory!  And at these sizes we’re also getting confused with ladies’ (larger ones’) dress sizes! 

So the conclusion is that size 18 is about the limit for ready-made golf shoes and that’s pretty much all Callaways.
