Ecco Casual Swing Golf Shoe
After our first four months in the business of looking at golf shoes and golf shoes news, we feel qualified to award our first accolade! And our first Golf Shoes Blog Golf Shoe of the Year goes to the Ecco Casual Swing!
The only problem is that it’s an old shoe! We think it came out in 2005!
But the award is of course in our judgement and the shoes are still just available (almost all ladies). Our choice is based on the following criteria [a] looks [b] comfort & performance [c] dryness & waterproofing and [d] price in no particular order. This pretty much agrees with our advic on how to choose a golf shoe – see our earlier post.

Problem – hardly available now! It seems the Casual Cool/Pitch has almost totally replaced them! But they don’t look nearly as good!
PS Against Ecco: [1] WEBSITE HIERARCHY! Almost impossible to know where to go… shoes/uk shoes/eccoshoes/ecco-golf/goodness knows what… [2] JARGON. A foot isn’t a foot to ECCO, it’s a “human barefoot”!
