Italian Golf Shoes Company Making Big Strides

There’s been an enormous amount of favourable publicity about both the golf shoes and the golf shoes making company from Italy, making the owner Mario Moretti Polegato a very rich (and celebratedly rich) man.  It is said that when he came up with the idea of the breathable shoes (”respira”)  he couldn’t get anyone interested so he started his own company.  The rest is history.

The golf shoes are claimed to be “the first fully breathable golf shoe that allows perspiration to evaporate from the foot through a breathable leather upper, and more importantly, through a technologically advanced “net” incorporated in the sole”. See the golf shoes on their site.

The “NET System technology” is patented and is promoted with 100% confidence. It says perspiration evaporates properly even in the sweatiest weather.  These are the most breathable golf shoes that I said I’d find yesterday when discussing shoes for hot weather.  These claim to be the best answer to that – but until I try them, it’s hard to endorse that.
