And These ICON Golf Shoes Are Really Good Looking
STOP PRESS: FJ ICON: FootJoy have launched what looks to me as their best looking golf shoes yet. FootJoy is known for it’s overall quality some innovation but most recently all their new golf shoes have been a bit Star Trek with flashy soles and modest (albeit pretty fair) looking tops. This lot though (19 styles plus squillions of MyJoy variations) have some real pedigree – I think inspired by wanting to own the classic look (with variations) more than is evident in their recent focus. (Is that uncharitable?)
Here are just two for now: Above the “Assymetrical” in brown and below the “shield tip” in white/tan and tan croc.
The whole range boasts uppers in luxurious calfskin with premium full grain leather which comes with a 2-Year waterproof warranty. Inside you get full leather linings, leather covered fit bed (i.e. underfoot) with memory foam and a microfiber heel counter (for fit and slip resistance) and the ICON laser last (composite of thousands of digital scans of the FootJoy Laser Fitting System (what on earth does that actually mean!).
Outside you have Tri-Denisty TPU platform.
